While everyone is traveling this time of year be sure to save your small soaps, shampoos etc. that are in your hotel rooms for Sandy Hamilton. She would also like to have items such as socks. Sandy plans a birthday party in the spring for Pierce Street Community Center. The children love to receive these gifts. Your help is appreciated.

LifeWell Needs Help

Coburn families are thanked for providing the wonderful meals the first Monday of each month. Your ministry is appreciated so much by the children. If you are interested in helping with this program please contact Kathy Zimmerman who is coordinating the monthly (first Monday) meals.

Help is also needed to be with the children to interact and help during 4:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. hours on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays! If you are able to give two hours a month contact LifeWell Center at 450-7650.

We can use most non-perishable items. Popular items are: mac & cheese, soup, tuna, fruits, vegetables, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce, peanut butter, cereal, and crackers.

Please check the expiration dates and we cannot use items that have already been opened. You may leave your items in the gathering area outside the office. We now have plenty of plastic grocery bags, but can always use the paper bags. We work with the United Way to determine the eligibility of clients. Thank you for your continuing support of this ministry.

Volens Et Potis - Ready and Able
A very dynamic Adult Sunday School Class.
Teaching is rotated among the class members on a voluntary basis.
They are fond of activities outside the classroom, such as catering meals to groups of many sorts and sizes as an outreach mission.

The next scrapbooking adventure will be on
a coming date.
We will be in the basement area.

enjoy an evening/night with friends.

Friendly Faces
We need you! We need greeters to offer the ministry of a smile and a warm hand each Sunday. We need persons to greet at Fresh Start and the 10 AM worship service. We also need greeters at many doors as people come from the parking lot into our doors. Sign up at the Welcome Center in the narthex. Let us show others that they will know we are Christians by our love!

The Genesis Spiritual Care Department is in need of volunteers who would welcome newly admitted patients, provide them with information, and in some cases get their church information. Our volunteers choose which campus to work on and how often to work (once a week, once a month, every other week, etc). The Spiritual Care Department depends on loyal faithful volunteers to help them function effectively. If you are interested in becoming a Spiritual Care volunteer at Genesis please call 454-5859.
