Prayer Shawl Ministry

Do you knit or crochet or would you like to learn how?  Would you like to be a blessing to others?
Please consider joining us in expanding Coburn’s Prayer Shawl Ministry which was started by Jan Lucas.
What are Prayer Shawls?
They are prayerfully handmade and of various sizes, shapes, and colors and
then presented to someone who is experiencing a special time in their life.
They are presented when someone needs comfort as well as during times of celebration.
In addition to the creators praying for the recipient while making the shawls,
the shawls are blessed with a prayer before they are presented.

Our Prayer Shawl Ministry usually meets the second Sunday at 3:00 PM
& the last Thursday of each month at 10:00 AM.

If you have any questions or would like a ride to the church when we meet
contact Gwen Mendenhall at 607-8441 or
gkmendenhall@roadrunner.com.

You could also become involved in the ministry by praying for the ministry in general,
or for the recipients or creators, or my making a donation to help purchase our yarn.
