MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER is a vivid and exciting demonstration showing how Jesus fulfilled the ancient feast of Passover. This visual presentation will be conducted by Boris Goldin of Chosen People Ministries.

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER begins with the traditional Passover Seder table – complete with all the articles of this important Jewish celebration. The speaker will explain the symbolic meanings of the various items of the Passover feast and highlighttheir relationship to the Last Supper that Messiah celebrated with the disciples, giving special emphasis on the redemptive significance of the crucifixion.

MESSIAH IN THE PASSOVER gives the Christian community insight into Jewish traditions so that the Jewish roots of Christianity can be better understood. This program also helps the Jewish and Christian communities understand their common heritage.

This meeting is open to the public. Both the Christian as well as the Jewish community are invited to attend. A love offering will be received.

Invite your family and friends to our Maundy Thursday service as thirteen men of the church reenact Leonardo daVinci's famous painting "The Last Supper." DaVinci was commissioned to decorate the dining room of the convent church and he chose to paint what he considered the most dramatic moment of the Last Supper, when Jesus reveals to the apostles that one of them will betray him. In this living dramatization, we get a glimpse of what the apostles might have been thinking, feeling, and saying after Jesus speaks those ominous words "One of you will betray me." We hope that you listen to their story and the beautiful music, it may serve as a reminder that we all have our own story, our own history. Our story includes not just trust and devotion but also desertion and despair, betrayal and denial, doubt and disbelief.  We hope you will join us as we reflect and remember the events of that night long ago.
